Xiaomi Redmi 7 with 6.26-inch Display and 4000 mAh Battery Launched

The Xiaomi has announced Redmi 7 in China as a successor to the last year famous Redmi 6. The company has provided mid-range specs and features within Redmi 7. The handset comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset, dual rear camera setup, up to 4GB of RAM and massive 4,000mAh battery. The Redmi 7 comes with a three color options, i.e. Dream Blue, Charm Night Red, and Bright Black.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has been priced at CNY 699 (approximately Rs. 7100) for the 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage and the 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage variant comes with at CNY 799 (approximately Rs. 8200). The higher variant of Redmi 7 has a 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage which carries a price tag of CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,200).

The Xiaomi Redmi 7 comprises mid-range specs with a notch on the top of the display. The phone features a 6.26-inch HD+ waterdrop display with 19:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It features a gradient finish on the back with a fingerprint sensor and two camera sensors. The weighs of this handset is a mere 180 grams. The Redmi 7 runs on Android 9.0 pie with MIUI 10 on the top.

Under the hood, the new budget phone of Xiaomi is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz octa-core CPU along with Adreno 506 GPU. Xiaomi provides three RAM options to buy this phone, ie. 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB. The phone has 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of internal storage options. Users can also expand their phone’s internal memory using a microSD card up to 512GB. The Redmi 7 comes with a dual-SIM slot both supports 4G networks.

As for the camera, it sports a dual camera setup on the rear penal that includes a 12MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP camera sensor for selfies. Other notable features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and much more. The company incorporates a 4,000mAh battery on the phone.
