Samsung Galaxy A40 Launched with Exynos 7885 SoC and 25MP Front Camera

Samsung has finally launched its much-awaited Samsung Galaxy A40 in the Netherlands. The phone comes with mid-range specs and a price tag for the Android users. The main key attraction features of the handset are its infinity-U display, dual-rear camera setup, a massive 25MP front-facing camera, and beautiful design. The phone has Samsung’s own One UI interface based on Android Operating system. Samsung has revealed all specs and pricing detail of Galaxy A40 which are mentioned below. The handset comes in four color variants, i.e. Black, Blue, Coral, and White.

Samsung Galaxy A40 Price

The new Samsung Galaxy A40 has been priced at EUR 249 (approximately Rs. 19,500) in the Netherlands. The phone is available for pre-order on Besimpel.nl. The phone is expected to go on sale starting from April 10th.

Coming to the specs and features, the Galaxy A40 features a 5.9-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED infinity-U display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It carries a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The device has full-view bezel-less display penal, glossy back finish with two camera sensor. There is also a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone situated on the back panel. The phone has a very slim design that can easily hold on your palm, it measures 144.3 x 69.1 x 7.9mm.

Other features include, it is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7885 SoC clocked at an octa-core CPU along with Mali-G71 GPU. The handset has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card up to 512GB. The phone has a dual-SIM slot and Android 9.0 Pie OS with One UI one the top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.

In terms of camera, it features a dual camera setup on rear penal that include a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 25MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers. Samsung incorporates a 3,100mAh battery in the phone.
