Honor 20 with Kirin 980 SoC and Quad Rear Camera Setup Launched

Honor has launched its new smartphone, named as Honor 20 at an event in London. The phone comes with all high-end specifications and features in an affordable price tag. The main key attraction features of the Honor 20 is its all-view display with a hole-punch, 6GB of RAM, and Quad camera setup on the rear panel.

The phone has been priced at EUR 499 (approximately Rs. 38,800) for the lone 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. It is available in three color variants, i.e. Icelandic White, Midnight Black, and Sapphire Blue.

Honor 20 Specifications

The Dual-SIM supporting Honor 20 run on Android 9.0 Pie with Magic UI 2.0 on the top. The handset comes with a 6.26-inch all view display with a hole-punch on the top. The phone has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It measures 154.25 x 73.97 x 7.87mm and weighs around 174 grams. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone.

As for the chipset, there is a HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC along with Dual-NPU, GPU Turbo 3.0. The device has a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no MicroSD card for memory expansion. It includes an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor, magnetometer and more. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.

In the camera department, it sports a quad camera setup on the rear that includes a 48MP main Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, AI Image Stabilization, and AIS Super Night Mode. The secondary sensor is 16MP with 117-degree super-wide-angle lens and f2.2 aperture. The phone comes with 2MP tertiary depth assisting sensor and 2MP sensor with a macro lens. On the front side, it has a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The company has incorporated a 3,750mAh battery that supports 22.5W Superfast charging technology that delivers up to 50 percent of charge in 30 minutes.
