Alcatel a French smartphone company had announced the company’s latest smartphone, called Alcatel 7 which is an affordable Android device that has been priced at $179.99 (Rs. 12,580 approx). It is exclusively available from MetroPCS in the U.S. Staring Monday. Alcatel 7 is the mid-range smartphone which has all useful features to attract Android users like a large display, dual rear camera setup, and gigantic battery.
Talking about specs and features, it offers a 6.0-inch huge IPS display with 2.5D curved glass which carries a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The phone is very handy due to its perfect dimension which measures 162 x 76 x 8.05mm and weighs around 155grams. Alcatel 7 has a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone which is placed on the back penal below the dual rear camera.

As for the hardware and performance, it is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor clocked at 2.5GHz Octa-Core along with Mali G71 MP2 GPU. You get a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and more. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box.
On the camera front, the main camera setup has a 12MP and a 2MP sensor to capture more attractive photos through this phone. It offers an 8MP of front-facing camera that supports face unlock called Alcatel’s Face key technology. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery which is almost similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Overall, the phone hasn’t too impressive features as compared to other mid-range smartphones.
